Brick Replacement / Sealing At American Pacific Restoration we understand you probably use one or two contractors for your masonry
and waterproofing repairs. I have been around long enough ( 24 years) in the field to see all types of problems
that can come up with the larger companies in the area. I know many of the guys. Don't get me wrong. Some
of them are hard working guys just trying to get by. I like a lot of them. But the bottom line is, are they looking out
to give you the best job for your building at a reasonable cost ? Or are they just trying to increase there bottom line at
someone else's cost. Yours. One of the problems these company's have is that have a lot of employees they
need to keep working THOROUGHOUT the year. This in it self in the business is a dilemma. You want to keep guys working
but you don't have enough business or weather is a probelm to do this. You end up laying 25 % to 40 percent of
those off in the fall winter or spring. This is not good for company moral. I have seen it first hand. Second, When they
are working they will work to make their hours. and I have seen product being used that it was either to hot out , rainy out
,cold out etc. for this product to last the time it was intended. The bottom line is its , You the building
owner gets short changed. We personally will never put any product on your building that I see as questionable to its material
life. Period. The point to all this, Please as a building owner or manager just take the time to understand who it is
doing that existing job for you and are they looking out for your best interest. Honestly. Just ask me what time
of the year is best for what job and what problems may come up with certain things and I will be glad to tell you.
I wouldn't want to do this for a living if I couldn't steer you into the right decisions to spend your money. Its just a lot
